Chubbs HAS NOT exhibited the resource guarding with humans… only other dogs when food is involved, and he goes from zero to “I’ll eff you up” pretty quickly. He’s been bounced around because of it in the past, and we can’t have that happen again. It’s why we will be placing Chubbs as an ONLY dog. That’s a behavior that any new family needs to be willing to manage. His biggest issue is his resource guarding. Our volunteer met him as well and said he’s very sweet! He’s not shown any reactivity to other dogs in the general area and seems to just be an all-around swell dude. no issues going into his kennel and he’s a friendly guy.
